The technique matters. How you guide it matters just as much.

Protocols are the easy part. What separates a class from an experience is the person holding the room.

In the WeBorn Academy, you learn how heat and cold affect the body, what breathwork and music do, and more scientific background. Most importantly, you learn how to turn that knowledge into a real experience and a place where people trust themselves. Because we believe Guides should truly know what they’re doing and how to deliver it well.

So, you’ll also practice the craft: voice & wording, presence & how you move, timing & pauses, empathy & how to bring people back after cold water.

Target group

Is this for me?

This is not an entry-level “learn how to teach” course. You should already feel comfortable leading a class and speaking to a group. The Academy helps you level up your teaching skills, apply them in the WeBorn contrast-therapy environment and develop an even more confident guiding-personality.

What we expect before the audition

  • Approximately 50+ hours of previous teaching or facilitation experience
  • 8 WeBorn classes attended in total
  • Comfort with speaking in front of groups
  • Willingness to learn, practice and continue your education consistently

We combine flexible self-study (material provided by us), helpful live sessions, practical hands-on training, integration and 1:1 sessions with live trial classes into one well-rounded education.

Certification

After passing both assessments, you’re certified as a Contrast Exposure and Recovery Specialist. From there, we practice your own WeBorn class, refining your approach and authentic presence.

Minimum 2×60 minutes of 1:1 coaching

They can be used for individual practice with your Master Guide or trial classes with other trainees to create a real-class setting. You’ll receive personal feedback on your guiding, presence, communication and key areas for development.

From first class to certification

Before

  1. 8 WeBorn sessions

    Attend 8 WeBorn classes — anytime before the audition.

  2. Apply

    Complete the Academy application form.

  3. Audition

    Around 10 minutes demonstrating how you normally guide, outside the sauna / ice bath environment.

  4. Acceptance & signing

    Decision, Q&A call and signing the Academy agreement.

During

  1. Academy foundations

    Welcome to WeBorn and the shared standards we work from.

  2. 8-module training

    Theory and practice across all eight modules.

  3. Theoretical exam

    Written assessment of the full curriculum.

  4. Integration workshops

    Bringing every element together into one class.

  5. Practical exam

    You guide — intro, infusion, towel waving, breath, ice-bath guidance.

  • Certified breathwork coaches with extensive education and years of guiding and cueing breathwork
  • Wim Hof Method certified Level 2, with 5+ years of personal ice bath and breathwork practice
  • Former ICU nurse and breathwork coach with several breathwork certifications
  • External psychotherapist with 10+ years of professional experience
  • Certified yin yoga teacher with years of experience guiding group classes
  • Certified personal and fitness trainer, former competitive dancer at European level, thermalist instructor, 12+ years coaching and cueing sport and recovery
